*backstory*
Celebrían was born in Eregion in the Second Age, to Galadriel and Celeborn. She travelled a great deal with her mother and father and enjoyed a youth spent flirting with Lindon in Gil-galad until she met her husband-to-be, Elrond. She was a little miffed that it took him approximately for ever to propose because her answer was always going to be yes. She and Elrond had three children, twin boys (Elladan and Elrohir) and a girl (Arwen) and no parents were as proud of their children as Elrond and Celebrían were of their three.
Due to a rather unpleasant encounter with Orcs in the Third Age, Celebrían removed to Valinor in order to heal (and she never saw her children again).
On Órë, she was largely brought up by foster-parents, before she went to boarding school in Lindon. She graduated at sixteen and, by seventeen, was a freshman in Tasarinan University, where she studied Business and Economics. At eighteen, she remembered her life on Arda and began to search for her husband. As fate would have it, Elrond was practising psychiatry in a local clinic and so Celebrían made an appointment to see him.
"I told your receptionist that you were my husband. Why do I suspect that this isn't the first time she has heard that from a patient?"
They were (re)married later that afternoon and Celebrían moved into Elrond's apartment that evening. They since removed to Delving, where Celebrían is a successful entrepreneur, with business interests throughout Beleriand. Elrond is a successful psychiatrist and their little girl has come back to it.
